To ensure safe usage of your Kitchen Thermometer and to prevent damage not covered under the 1-year warranty, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not expose the Kitchen Thermometer to any form of liquid. If cleaning is required, it must be done with cleaning wipes or solutions approved for use with electronics
- Do not drop the Kitchen Thermometer
- Do not allow battery acid to leak within the battery compartment
- Do not leave the Kitchen Thermometer in direct sunlight
- Do not place the Kitchen Thermometer base on a surface which radiates high heat as this could melt it. If it's - too hot to touch, it's too hot for the Kitchen Thermometer!
- Do not store the Kitchen Thermometer for an extended period of time with its battery installed
- Do not expose the Kitchen Thermometer to ambient temperatures below 32°F (0°C) or above 110° F (43°C)
- Do not plug any devices other than authorized iGrill probes into the Kitchen Thermometer probe ports
- Do not attempt to open, service, or otherwise modify the Kitchen Thermometer or its internal components
- Do not expose the Kitchen Thermometer to harsh outdoor elements, including, but not limited to, rain, sleet, and snow
