Sometimes the included CR2032 Coin Battery in the iGrill Mini does not make proper contact with the device’s Negative Battery Terminal. This may cause the device to not turn on.
If your iGrill Mini is exhibiting these symptoms, it is helpful to ensure that the Negative Battery Terminal is indeed making proper contact with the negative side of the CR2032 Coin Battery.
To make sure it is, follow the steps below:
- Remove the iGrill Mini from its base, remove the battery compartment door, and remove the battery
- The silver piece you see is the negative battery terminal. With your index finger pull back the negative battery terminal so it is raised roughly at a 75° angle.
- Seat your battery back in the iGrill Mini to see if it powers on.
