If you are observing error codes, an "8.8.8" repetition, or other blinking lights on the LED display, it is most likely an issue related to the batteries currently installed in the iGrill Classic unit.
Try the following to resolve the issue:
- Immediately remove and discard the batteries installed in the iGrill Classic
- Next, install four brand new AA disposable alkaline batteries. A fresh set of batteries resolves most electronic issues with the iGrill Classic.
- You will need to reset the iGrill Classic Bluetooth® connection and re-pair with your mobile device once more.
To reset the iGrill Classic, hold down the +, -, and power button for several seconds until you hear a beep. Then, "Forget this Device" or "Unpair" from your Bluetooth® settings.
